Country Dancing Festival

4th July 2019
Every first Thursday of July we host the annual Country Dancing Festival and this year is no different. We are very lucky to be able to host such a festival, as we have such a big field. We were pleased to welcome 7 small infant Schools: Coleshill, Lee Common, Hyde Heath, Little Missenden, Jordans, Denham and Fulmer.  It is so special to have a field full of young children dancing and performing in front of a large audience.
An event like this is only possible with the help of volunteers. Every year we need 11 volunteers to help with the traffic management and marshalling and 4 volunteers to run the Cream Tea stall. My very special thanks go to Stephan and Marion from Maidenhead Thames Rotary who run the traffic management. I don’t know what I would do without them. My special thanks also to our parents, for their kind donations for the cream tea and their ongoing support for school events.
