Harvesting Apples

4th October 2017
One Wednesday afternoon in early October, the children of Dropmore Infant school became fruit farmers and helped with the harvesting of our apples. They were asked to separate the apples into two piles: 'good' and 'bad'. They all worked hard and good discussions were had about whether an apple belonged in the 'good' pile or the 'bad'pile. The apples from the 'bad' pile were put into the compost bin and the apples from the 'good' pile were distributed amongst the children to take home.
