RDA trip

13th March 2020
It was the last day of the Science week and all children arrived at school very excited and dressed in warm clothes and wellie boots ... we were going on a school trip to the South Bucks Riding for the Disabled Association in Fulmer!! Our very own Miss Tolmie is a volunteer at the RDA and she had suggested a visit to the yard.

In the morning the children completed a carousel of 5 activities , with a drink and biscuits break in between:
  • Riding the mechanical horse
  • Classroom activities
  • Care for a horse
  • Visiting the Tack room
  • Obstacle course
After lunch we had a wonderful woodland walk. It was such a lovely day and the children were having so much fun, we could have stayed longer, but time was up! We went back to the coach, ready to go back to school where the parents were already waiting for us.

This day would not have been possible without the help from the many volunteers and parent helpers. Our gratitude goes to South Bucks RDA for welcoming us and for their help and support in making it such a wonderful day for all!
