Poetry Competition 2018

20th March 2018
Every year, in March, we celebrate poetry at Dropmore. All children are asked to learn a poem off by heart and perform it in front of their peers. The children all did amazingly well and it was hard to choose who would go through to the final of our poetry competition.

On Tuesday morning the twelve finalists performed in front of the school and our visiting judges, Mr Edwards and Mrs Weston.  All finalists received 5 house points for their brilliant performances, but there can only be three winners. After a lot of deliberation, the judges announced the winners.

A big thank you to the judges and a big well done to all the children. It was a lovely morning!
